BIO
T.R. Moore is a queer fantasy, horror, and sometimes romance writer who mostly writes about feminine rage and god complexes. Though she started in poetry, her books now tend to feature Korean main characters, fat-positive representation, and mental health issues written responsibly.
When she’s not setting her air fryer on fire (which only happened twice), she’s busy making oddly-specific Spotify playlists to complete her collection. Keep up with her at authortrmoore.com.
MSWL
Give me anything weird, regardless of what shelf it should sit on. Character-focused, genre-bending stories are my jam. I’m mostly looking in the adult space, but if you’ve got NA or YA and it’s something funky, send it my way! My tastes are broad across genre and age, so if you feel we would be a good match, please try me!
Things I really want to see:
BIPOC and/or QUEER CHARACTERS! Especially sapphic romances!
Neurodivergent, disabled, and mentally ill characters, written responsibly!
Dark or heavy topics that are handled with care (and please include trigger warnings)
Unconventional romances. I want something different.
Anything weird, vibey, non-categorical, cannot be conveyed through mainstream comps or constraints.
Comps I adore:
Anything like KILLING EVE or FLEABAG
K-drama/K-pop comps
Ghibli films, especially a dark take
Video game comps, like FINAL FANTASY, FALLOUT, or ELDEN RING (especially)
Anime comps, like NEON GENESIS EVANGELION or UTENA
Tropes that I love seeing:
Enemies-to-lovers (or rivals/hated/forced/proximity)
Male yearning, or toxic yuri
Second chance or sworn-off love
Fate, in all different ways - to be together, to be torn apart, to live, to die, etc
I’m not a good fit for:
Contemporary romance without some element of queerness, BIPOC characters, or featuring disabilities
Sci-fi that can be comped to authors like Andy Weir or James S.A. Corey
Graphic on-page rape/sexual assault - if off-page, please provide trigger warnings! (list of trigger warnings below)
Stories about weight loss or eating disorders
TRIGGER WARNINGS:
Please include these warnings somewhere in your package before sending to me, but do not feel like you can’t send to me if your work contains these! I just need the content disclosed, thank you!
Rape, sexual assault, domestic violence, someone being pushed down the stairs
